Well, except for being with Mom and the kids all day, its been a rather good Saturday, compared to most days this time around. Basically, the next-to-perfect kind of day would like this:

Windy and Cloudy (a.k.a. “tornado weather”)
Spending most of the day on the comp
listening to mp3s
watching AMVs
watching the news
checking email
visiting LJ (livejournal)
head over to the Teen Center on Base (for the internet, of course)
go to a place that has LOTS of books (i.e., Books-a-Million, Library. tis better if i could take the books home with me)
watching news on NWI/CBC
looking at (what else?) furry/anthro art and lit, petrification art and lit
eating some slices of bread spread over with mayonnaise
watching anime on adult swim (preferably Wolf’s Rain, .hack, Fooly Cooly, and Inuyasha, since Miroku’s the P.I.M.P.!)
watching Anime Unleashed (especially when theyre showing Serial Experiments Lain or Boogiepop Phantom)

Well, in relation to the Hurricane thats starting to make its big debut on land as we speak (i think), this neck of the woods is expecting some heavy rain and unfavorable conditions this Labor Day, so from what Ive heard, several Floridians are coming up here to wait out whatever damage that Frances is gonna rain down upon the Panhandle. So I guess alot is gonna happen in Hicksville over the next couple of days.

Oh yeah, my friend Kitnoki (no, nobody’s gonna get her YIM or AIM from me!) just sent me a few mp3s from this band called Corsi, which I guess alot of attendees to Anthrocon are familiar with. These songs center mostly around the common experiences of attendees at Anthrocon (the latest of which Kit went to in Philly, which strangely enough, is the home of the great director, and now cult figure since that documentary was shown on Sci-Fi, M. Night Shymalan). When I heard these songs, I was like, “man, i guess they redefine the term ‘folksinging’!”.
