A dream f/ Mrs. Patrick (for my Labor day holiday)

Well, while listening to one of the hypnosis files from warpmymind.com last night, I had a dream which I prolly wont be able to get out of my head for a LONG while.

I dreamed of Mrs. Patrick, my late L.A. teacher. Living and in the flesh.

I dont know much of what else was featured in the dream, but that was the main thing that I remember from it.

When I told Mom this morning, she was saying that I need to come back to Christianity (or as they put it, “get saved”), mentioning that we had a hot discussion (one that I didnt want to get into) on the way to church concerning what I said (“You know what, I dont even care anymore.” “You mean you dont care about Christ anymore?!” “No, Im not saying that!” “Then what you sayin’?!” “I told you, Mom, Im just not Christian anymore. havent been, aight?!”) , so after what I had said about my religious status yesterday, it didnt surprise her that I saw Mrs. Patrick in my dream.

Since she herself knew Mrs. Patrick (in fact, Mrs. Patrick was an inspiration to my Mom spiritually), she saw her presence in my dream as a notion that the divine is calling to me (as in, “God is trying to tell you something”). I myself think it has something to do with those hypnosis files Ive been listening to in my sleep for the last two or three nights (and speaking of which, I almost found myself in hypnosis last night. Just a little more work, and Ill have myself a little hypnosis! yay!).

Honestly, I dont know what to think about this. Teh snowkitteh ish confuzzled. 😛

  1. Yup, dreams like that are hard to explain.
Even people who call themselves dream experts usually explain certain dreams to mean something completely different than you expected.

I guess dreaming of her might also be because you got along so well and you admired her. Strong people like that are usually what we need most in times of confusion and when searching for direction.

The fact that Mrs Patrick seemed to me like she was a great listener aswell as speaker of her own mind would give me the impression that you know that you’re very able to find your own path in life 🙂

    1. yep. she WAS a great listener, actually. she was a big person in size (as in, not fat, but tall and kinda stocky), but she was very low-key and quiet most of the time, and she was the one who I came to whenever I had a question about something. in fact, i dont remember one time that she ever complained about her health. only time she ever alluded to it was when she came to school one day with a wrap of some kind around her head, which she said was because she had washed her hair, and she had to keep it covered since she had a cold at the time.

she didnt have any kids, she was young, but she was a quiet yet compelling teacher, very compelling. i told my friend kit yesterday, and i then told her that if she were to appear in another of my dreams, i hope it would be in furry form, like as a wolf.

(oh yeah, and i forgot to mention that she was sitting next to me somewhere, and when i saw her, we recognized each other right away, and we hugged each other, i with tears in my eyes. it was cool, yet sad…)
