Ladies and gentlemen, as of yesterday, I am no longer a high school student.
After a commencement ceremony that lasted over an hour, I finally received my diploma, thus bringing to a closure over 12 years of sub-tertiary education, learning, and scholastic discipline (yeah, they all mean the same thing).
Besides my Mom and two nephews, Dad was the only other member of my family that was in attendance (he drove down overnight from St. Louis). Among the gifts, I ultimately received US$295 (mmm, money…).
And now we’re preparing to take off to Frankfurt am Main in Deutschland (via Philadelphia) in the morning for the next two weeks (we’ll be heading to Wuerzburg, Paris, Prague, and Auschwitz, among other places), so I hope to have alot to tell you about when we get back.

My Niece Graduated from high school in Memphis Last Tuesday. I mad the three hour drive to attend her Ceremony. Her mom and dad and two younger siblings were there. My mom, dad, younger sister and brother, and older sister, all came from Alabama to be there. Also her dadβs sister and mom were there.
Anyway, congratulations.
I lived near Wuerzburg, Germany for 2.5 years. Good luck! It’s an experience! π
