Even though I’ve departed from doing the IM dance with Yahoo (and everyone else, for that matter), I’m still maintaining my fat-ass archive of Bookmarks, feeds, and tags at MyWeb (http://myweb.yahoo.com).
MyWeb is basically Yahoo’s foray into the territory of http://del.icio.us (why is it spelled that way?, I wonder. Must look at Wikipedia a bit). In both services, one can upload his/her bookmarks onto a public archive, categorized by such things as alphabetization, tags, dates, and so forth.
The reason why I haven’t tried del.icio.us is because, in a similar case as to the whole IM thing, I’m a bit too used to Yahoo to make an outward switch at this time (maybe later, but not yet).

In the meantime, I’ve decided to pioneer a new idea of P2P communication.
It’s called the telephone.
Now, why am I thinking about doing this?
Simply put: 1. I won’t have to rely as much on the Internet in order to communicate with other people.
2. I’ll actually be able to hear voices. Voices! Oh happy day!
3. It’s less lazy (and, by extension, less easy) to communicate with other people through word of mouth. Thus, a greater sense of genuity.
4. Less typing. I would need my typing for writing pieces like this one.
What do you all think?
Further details on the next post.
