DLed and installed Gaim yesterday.
Yeah, I suck.
Patricularly, I’m using it to see how a P2P file-sharing system could work through this multi-network protocol.
Many people have already compared Gaim to Shareaza in how it logs on to Jabber (having trouble with logging on it as gmail.com), Yahoo, and a few other networks almost simultaneously.
Now if they only allowed search-and-share for multiple folders….
Plus, I figured that VLC isn’t as notable than Media Player Classic for a reason (or two).
Thus, scratch VLC. Media Player Classic will be on top of Firefox in the near future, and media will be bookmarkable; and you can kiss WMP, Real, Quicktime, and maybe even Winamp goodbye.
