Back when I first got the Internet at home (in January), I was
seriously interested in anthro stuff, as I had been for the past year
or so. I started to email such people as Kaijima Frostfang, Tincrash,
Nudog, Nightcat, Goldenwolf, Skipper, Marci Mcadam, etc., commenting on
their excellent anthro/furry art. Alot of times I got responses from
them, and I also got even more interested in lycanthropy/therianthropy.
So one night, I was browsing the Internet, and, in my search on
lycanthropy stuff, I came across this website:

you are a were and what were are you. Not that I really took it
seriously, but I decided to take the survey just for curiosity.
First, I saw this list of possibilities under “If I were an animal, I would…”
I then saw the first answer: “…Prefer to roam on land, in the wild
jungles/forests/tundra/plains of my homeland.” I selected that.
I found myself in the “Land Mammals” section. I saw Set 2, which
mentioned such posibilities as “aloof, independent, observant, quiet,
secretive”, “don’t like loud noises, nocturnal, enjoy sleeping, don’t
care what people think of you”. I was like, this describes me alot more
than the other options. So I select that.
I then found myself in the “Feline” section. I looked at Set 7, which
mentioned such things as “you are very intuitive”, “you like mountains
and cooler climates”, “you are somewhat timid when confronted”, “you
are constantly being told that you have alot of potential”, “you are
very solitary and secretive about your personal life”. I selected that.
I soon found my answer: snow leopard.
I was like, OK? I was expecting something like tiger or black panther,
but snow leopard? I wasn’t really that familiar with the snow leopard
in all my reading.
So I decided to put the issue on the backburner for a while.

Around the end of March, I had gotten back my laptop from the shop, and
I had started to use it again, and this time, since I had still
maintained my love and passion for furry/anthro art, I decided to
pursue the lycanthropy issue from where I had left off.
That’s when I met Sunookitsune at the furtopia IRC. We started chatting
on m- and p-shifting in the chat room, then we decided the hell with
irc and started using MSNIM, me for the first time.
We started chatting about the subject, and we became friends not long
afterwards. I told him about the “determine your phenotype” survey that
I had seen back in January. I also told him about my personality, and
how I thought that maybe the survey had some truth in it. Comparing
what I said about my personality with what the survey said, even down
to the answer I got, Sunoo told me that such characteristics are
rather feline. He personally couldn’t lay his finger on exactly which
species, but he did sorta confirm that my personality is rather feline.
Now I’m sorta certain, a snow leopard is my phenotype.
I don’t know why I was ambivalent concerning this, and I don’t know why I still am.
But now I’ll go out on a limb and say that, yes, I’m certain that, in
some sort of aspect that may appear eventually, like in spirit, aura,
dream, mental, or physical, I am a snow leopard.
I just hope that, someday soon, the skin of my snow leopard “side” will
come out, just as in :iconstrype:’s pic
