I do know that the Kurds have long held beef with both the Arabs (Iraq) and the Turks (Turkey) over the Kurdistani region. So in light of the fact that they are also predominately Muslim, this comes as being a “blacksheep” sort of surprise; in light of their history with the neighboring ethnicities, however, it seems perfectly reasonable.
Why is it, however, that those who are propogating the violence or are blaming the West for this, that, and the other are crying out the sins of “racism”?
I mean, its not just the Arabs who are Muslim, but also Turks, Kurds, Farsis, Pakistanis, and so on. What about the Christian Arabs in Israel? Are they crying racism?
And, of course, I have even heard a few mentions of Malcolm X in the midst of this. Not a complete surprise, but now they (on both sides) are now associating him with the violence as well.
Goodness, some people just can’t let shit slide, can they?
that article seems more than a little biased, still, it seems roughly comparable to the nigga/nigger dilemna in the af-am community.
Hmm, in what way?
