On to better things.

The marriage is over.

Connie’s currently looking for a house within the Columbus area. Once she can find one, she will resign from the lease, and Dwayne will have the house (which we had helped them move into a month or two before) to himself. Then she’ll be on her way (hopefully, eventually to an assignment in Germany again).

I wonder if she’ll be alright after she hangs up the phone. I mean, neither of us (me or Mom) saw Dwayne’s face on Saturday when we were at the house (Connie had asked me to help rid her laptop of a virus). Plus, she cried on Mom’s shoulder, obviously in need of consolation for all that has transpired ever since she got married in July.

This mess is only compounding upon the current crisis. Things haven’t looked so bleak to me since my last days at Oglethorpe.

In the meantime, we wait.

Oh, and this is funny.

Didn’t want to impose the huge size on anyone’s friends page.
