It’s like I can barely move through the thick of the soupy humidity in the house. Even raising every window in the frickin’ house does nothing.
What’s worse: since Mom is out of commission due to her spinal injury (she tried to pick up a table at work…..BY HERSELF), she won’t let me turn on the A/C.
Shit…..it’s driving me nuts.
Oh, and I’ll be flying to Detroit on Thursday. In the meantime, I’m simmering and sauteeing just fine down here, thanks.
We’ve had some rain recently here in Texas, and I can’ just feel the hot, muggy nastiness all over my face that my family must be experiencing down in Houston. And my mom is an A/C Nazi of the worst kind.
Thank goodness I live in Dallas!
You might wanna duck, btw.
A tornado from Oklahoma is heading Dallas’ way.

Although I’ve always liked “tornado weather”: not too hot, not too cold, very windy, very serene and cataclysmic with the bright sun at one end and the dark clouds at the other end.
