Men’s Rhythmic Gymnastics (MRG) is a sport that was invented in Japan about 70 years ago. There are two variants of the MRG, individual (the gymnast does a solo on one of four instruments) and teams that focus on tumbling, flexibility, balance and synchronization. Today, from junior clubs to top universities, about 2,000 male rhythmic gymnasts are active in Japan.
