Keiichi Ikari’s wife finds herself wishing she were dead, and in doing so summons a demon. The demon is named Lil’ Slugger and it is because of him that her husband lost his career as a detective. The demon feeds on escapist tendencies and thinks that the woman will be easy prey. But it isn’t long before it becomes obvious that it was a mistake to try and feed on her.
These scenes are from episode 11 of an anime called Paranoia Agent. They were spread across the entire episode, and so some some of the transitions are jumpy and rough. Despite this, the scenes were just so powerful and inspirational that I felt compelled to edit them into a single extended scene and share it. Though I have to admit that if you don’t understand symbolism, then this will probably seem pretty boring to you.
