It was when we were watching the “Witches of Eastwick” (which was actually good, even though it had Cher in it…. [solemn_howler] was like “It has Jack Nicholson in it, cool; but the mere fact that Cher is in it just kills the movie from the onset”).

I didn’t actually say “Squawk”, though…..when I felt it, I said “Aaah!….uh?” Then I remembered that it was and then I was like “oh” and sat back down (and let him chomp on me a bit more…didn’t mind).
A few others in the den were looking at me for a sec, though, before going back to watch the woman puking something terrible before getting hacked to death by her husband.
Which made me wonder at that time: Did Cher actually sang for the Navy once?
Nah, she just happened to get a tacky (not in a bad or good way, though) dress on and have several background actors cheering for her on the USS Missouri (the ship was probably the only thing of reallife relevance in that video).
Of course, there was this one time that she called into C-SPAN anonymously as an entertainer for the USO….
