You can find some militant stuff on the Web these days….

Like so.

Actually, I was thinking about something similar on the road back to Warner Robins on Friday night.

“I really think that the world has the whole thing about homo/heterosexual relationships twisted from what it really is at its core. I say that being homosexual isn’t necessarily entailing that you’re into sex with another person of the same gender, but rather that you would rather, better affectionately relate to him or her rather than someone of the opposite sex from yourself. Every male human being has a degree of ‘femininity’ within his personality, and every female human being has a degree of masculinity within her self as well; otherwise, neither gender would be able to relate properly at any point with the opposite sex. Furthermore, I think that someone being straight could simply mean that he already knows which orientation he is (be he homo or hetero-sexual), and not needing a constant reaffirmation of that orientation on a periodic or frequent basis. The one who is really gay is the one, male or female, hetero or homosexual, who *needs* a vital regimen of sexual fulfillment, the direct opposite of the straight human being. However, truly straight people, be they homo, hetero, or even bi, are increasingly hard to find these days, as more and more people become more and more twisted around the satisfaction/pleasure/fulfillment of our nervous systems through sensual means.”

So does being gay or straight really depend upon your sexual fulfillment or with whomever you may share that fulfillment? By combining politics with sex, what are we really doing to ourselves? To quote the young female news anchor from Outkast’s Synthesizer, “Are we digging new ground, or are we digging our own graves?”

  1. After skimming this cause i’m getting ready for school, I agree with you on the fact that it’s not all about sex. I’m not too sure on the “femininity” factor though, cause I’m bi and well.. not much femininity here. XD; Fact of the matter is, I like being around both because of the personalities. Ish. >_> Gotta finish getting ready. T_T

    1. Ahh, well I was just thinking in the polar for the moment.

Bi folks, obviously, have the best of both worlds without having to dedicate to either side of the matter, no matter how much shit is thrown their way by the monkeys.

The femininity/masculinity thing, though, kinda applies to those who *maintain* that distinction, and strive toward doing so on a regular basis. Point of the matter: If you *recognize* that degree at any point, if you think that such applies to you (and alot of people do, as I’ve observed so far in Atlanta….or then again, that could just be because of the city itself >_>;), then it does. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

To people who are bi, or who are interested in both genders without having to clarify whichever sex/ual orientation he is, the “masculinity/femininity spectrum” doesn’t apply all that much, or not at all. If its not being studied by bi folks, then it doesn’t matter to them, and is irrelevant by default.

Well, at least that’s what makes sense, of course.
