More evidence that Google = God of the Wired (or is aiming to be)

GDrive – “infinite space” to store your files online

GBuy – the “Paypal killer” of the future

CL2 – the GCalendar that everyone has been clamoring for since Gmail was first released

And, based upon October’s events, is Google going to buy Sun and launch their much-rumoured Web-Office suite (with AJAX)?

Oh, and lordsathien, that GDrive extension that I told you about DOES have an equivalent for IE. Have fun with it.

  1. Really, I don’t have that much of a problem. Just as long as their intentions are good, you know? They’re like how I’ve found me and my friend Chris to be. Whenever we find a new idea/technology, we implement it into whatever we’re doing for the public. GDrive was just a testimate (sp) to their expansive storage space. It basically saved the end user the time of sending the file to themselves in an email.

    GBuy was just because they could I think. The same with the Calendar. XD;

    1. Aye, same here. I’m just hesitant about it because I’m afraid of blowing the 2.7 GBs in just a few instances with a few Limewire’d movies, lol.

      I’m hoping that the official GDrive will allow for the same amount of space as my own hard drive (31.7 GB), or at least half that size (and counting upward just like Gmail). Of course, I don’t think that they’ll offer something like that, so I guess I’ll just stick to a library of mp3s to store on Gmail using GSpace.

      GBuy makes sense because of Froogle; and CL2 has been cited by many people as their catalyst for switching from YMail to Gmail. Well, that and mail folders, of course.
