So say hello to Writely (beta).
It’s not taking any registrations until they get things settled, so hold your horses. But now we know that Google *is* launching a web-based office suite service.
So the rumours are indeed true!
You’ve never heard of Open Office?
Of course I have. Free and Open Sourced, licensed by Sun Microsystems (who had announced a teamup with Google back in October on Google Toolbar, Java Runtime Environment, and other things, but, alas, no web-based OpenOffice as a result, which I sorta mentioned in the last post).
