And now, as of today, he’s mulling the possibility of running for President in 2008.

Well, let’s see if he fits the Left Behind definition of the Antichrist.

1) He apparently rose from a seat in the Illinois State Senate to international popstardom in an instant, with one simple speech.
2) No fault is found with him (unless you count the fundies, who have the tin-foil hats on tight concerning Obama, Hillary, etc.).
3) Everyone can find a bit of themselves in him, be they black or white.
4) He draws throngs like flies.
5) He identifies with everyone.
6) He proves that one can be “liberal” and still invoke God as your patron.
7) If he runs in ’08, he’ll be done by ’12.
8) The guy is an aura-surrounded messiah in a den of thieves.
9) Even Republican senators and representatives say *good* things about him.
10) He won a *landslide* victory – 70% – for the Illinois seat in the Senate, while Republicans were gaining in most other states.

Oh yes, and he identifies himself as African-American (despite whatever the hell Alan Keyes was spewing….oh, wait a minute, who’s he again?), the only one in the Senate. I’m not counting this as part of the above list of reasons, but accusations of a hinted racism have been levelled at this discussion at the above forums by participants.

So watch Oprah after November 7, even if you don’t usually watch it (hopefully, it’ll be Tivo’ed and posted on YouTube within the hour). That, he stated on Monday, is where he’ll personally announce his decision on an ’08 run.

Man, vovinoiad, 2012 seems much more…..tangible by the day, dont’cha think? It’s like America’s ready for this guy.
